Sorry I've been away for so long. School, work, and family been keeping me real busy. Well, when I put the car away, the last set of jets got it running really strong. Can't wait for all this white stuff (snow and salt) to go away. Getting really antsy to bring the old girl home!!!!:blah:

Busy-Busy-Busy. Got the motor fired up today and broken in. Had to get a fuel pressure regulatator. Holley 1904's only like about 1 1/2 psi fuel pressure apparently. With 6 psi from the mechanical pump, I overflowed the bowls and began dripping fuel on the hot header. What a pucker moment...

Depending on how bad the rust is, some fine (very fine) scotch brite and WD-40 works wonders... Also depending on where the rust is, too. minor surface rust on the head should not be a problem... If there is any pitting on the gasket surface, it will need to be cut. I have a local guy here...
