I do detailing but I'm not insured so I wouldn't dare touch an engine compartment. That's the one thing I'd recommend you look for is an insured detailer.

K springs aren't available for the new V6. The N springs will lower my car about 1.25" in both the front and rear. Will that not be enough?

I'm not sure what a regular car is either. Gonna need more than normal tires from a regular car to be able to help you here. lol Either way, 225 is a bit narrow. I was able to chirp second gear pretty easily with the 225's that came with my car and that's just a V6.
