  • Ok gears opinion, for 4.0 V6 Auto: 3.73 or 4.10?

Roush, the 4.0 is a completely different engine than the newer 3.7 and 5.0. they need more gear, and dont have the 6-spd auto like the 2011. Go with a 3.73 at least, but if you dont do a lot of highway a 4.10 wont be bad either!

Its mostly 50/50 city and highway. Thinking it over I think 3.73 might be more for what I want my car setup for, more of a road car than drag or track.

go 4.10. cant go wrong with those, especially if you got a discount
Great, so First the Alternator is shot, now after getting that replaced my steering wheel is shaking like crazy when on the road.... After 6 years I really hope this car hasn't decided to follow in my dad's Buick footsteps...
finally had a chance to pull up in front of the house, pull the wheel off and fix that scraping caliper cover. Just needed to file the ends down to increase spacing between the clip and rotor. I'd finally be back on the road, but now I'm stuck at work... Can't win :(
Thank you all for your advice, I decided to go STAGGERED. Ordered last Monday, delivered Friday, got them on Sunday. Unfortunately now I got a new problem, I added in the MGP covers, the wheels made all clearances, yet when I drive above 15 - 20 mpg there's a extremely loud screaching/scraping noise...

@ROUSH 4, Thats my plan, I think I'm gonna go at the rotors and calipers with some brake cleaners also, there a lot of rust which could be causing problems. I'd like to be able to keep them since they look great, but I would rather be able to drive the car lol

If u feel that it is a continuous problem there after ......REMOVE THEM. One of my wheels had that issue. Glad i could help.
Time for new tires, figure get new wheels aswell. To Stagger or not to Stagger is the question...

Yea its usually 15-20,000 miles. Although I wouldn't keep them for 7 years as they may get dry rotted unless you wash em up good and don't let the car just sit too much.

How they get away with not paying ot? Need your 40 first? Or salaried? I mean either way sucks not getting compensated.

We're salaried, they pull anything to save a buck, the entire infrastructure is duct taped together. Our office joke is we're a 99 cent vendor and our sales team will bend over for anything even going as far as say don't charge for this 5 hours of work its a favor for the client. Like last night sales completely low balled a client took a job without even askign the instructions just accpeting the client will give the mlater, only we find out its this massive complicated request... that they changed every other hour.

Wow, it's too bad it comes down to you and your people who gotta eat it. I guess you have to use the old adage at least I have a job crap, lol, hang tough.
So far been lucky, unfortunately my friend a few blocks away has his apartment flood, his block is under 3 - 4 feet of water, luckly he got all his stuff out before it hit. Best part is his brother saying he was walking away when the basement door blew off the hinges and water gushed in like a movie. Also pretty suprised how water proof BDU pants are, walked around in that 3 feet of water only my socks got soaked lol.
Jalopnik has had a lot of interesting info on the '14.5. Apparently 2 members from ALLFORDMUSTANGS were invited to see a couple of concepts and compare it to competitors cars. What they describe sounds like its worth waiting for...

From what Ive heard its a bit of a disappointment, and doesnt say 'Mustang' at all? I just hope it doesnt look anything like any of the current renderings!
    Baz

Word is none of the rendering are near what was seen, that the rear is the highlight and seem to pay homage to the those on the '69 but the bezels are linked together. They say it just builds on the current look. As for interior its same size as current, but quality has shot up and doesn't look anything like the spy shot earlier. And what eveyrone really cares about, Ecoboosts and V8s are in the lineup.
Still at work... Some clients just need a baseball bat to the head.

I know it's fine I just need to reload the tune while having it run off a jumper cable from a Buick Rendevous of all things since the battery finally gave in, and I don't feel like lugging the new battery to my lot just rather drive in front of my house LOL
