Hi guys, I'm friends with 2nd 66 on another forum. During a chat on upcoming events he sent me the link for NYM. Since I'm not too far away I thought I'd join. I have the 66 below, it looks like a beater but it's fun. The whole front suspension is Street or Track tubular control arms, adjustable struts, camber kit, roller idler arm and Bilstein sports. The engine is a very tired 7 cylinder 302 (leaky valve I suspect) 4 speed Toploader. I've followed the roller bearing theme to the clutch linkage as well, even the hanger has bearings.
I'm currently working on a GT40P as time and money permits. I picked up a used Stealth for $80, a E303 cam $14.50, cam was free, shipping costs. Just picked up a 7 qt Canton and timing cover off a crate 347 cheap too.
I thought I had a recent picture of the wife's 69 Grande. It's a M code, FMX and has about 66,000 original miles. This shot was before we moved and before I did work on it. I still need to fix a couple things but time and money haven't been my friends lately. In addition my daughter is going to study in New Zealand next semester, ouch, ouch, ouch.
