Just wanted to follow up and let everyone know I finally figured this out a month or two ago. Apparently the strut tower nuts had become loose over time after I had done my suspension upgrades. I put some thread locker on the threads and tightened them up again. Seems to be better now.

Clay bars most definitely work. They will remove most of the contaminants that regular washing won't remove. You really only need to clay bar once or twice a year unless you're going mudding in your Mustang. You will want to apply wax directly after using a clay bar. I recommend getting liquid...

Finally ordered some more parts this year for my Mustang. These parts will be transforming the rear end of my car. Can't wait to get started!
