You may want to even check all the fittings on the pump and cylinders to ensure that none are leaking fluid. Make sure you use ATF suitable for either Mercon or Dexron. Not type F. Your owners manual should specify. The pump may also have a sticker right on it that states that too, mine did.

Did you check your fluid level? There is a plug on the reservoir end of the motor/pump assembly that you can pull out and check, the level should be 1/4" below the opening with I believe the top in the down position. Or could your cylinders have a poor seals internally ? The motor is easy...

the 'vert top motor/pump has been repaired in less than a week and is enroute to me now. If I get it the day after tomorrow on Thurs, I will start re-installation, otherwise it will be next Monday or Tuesday before I can get to it since I will be working Fri-Sat-Sun.
