You're getting more stuff done than I am, lol. It will be another six months before I do anything worth talking about on my car, I gots no funds during college!!! Or should I say, just enough for food and gas, haha. :smash:
Another slow day, only had about 45 minutes to work on it, but I primed most of the hatch jamb....just have to finish at the top, but I think I'll take the hatch off to do that.
So among some other things, I'm working on patching metal. Decided against the rivets as I want to do it right. I know these are oppisite sides but here is what I did with the help of Brett (1982_GT...a lurker lol)
Well I get depressed with the work it needs and consider getting something else on and off but I'm back into it. Maybe I just needed a long break? I decided to take out any metal I riveted in....I'm not half assing it so I'm going to weld any patches in. I'm going to get a sand blast gun and couple bags of sand and blast the whole underside and paint it with POR 15. Tonight I was working on cleaning up some of the rusted spots by squaring up the places it was cut out so it would be easier to cut a patch. I think I'm going to use wither under coating or truck bed liner to coat the floor under the carpet and also to quiet it down.
