Whipple has a new 4.0L supercharger with the Crusher inlet now available. Hermann of HBH already has one, I think his is the 1st. More info on his build is here:

2.9L kit is coming SOON......only a few hundred more than a 2.3L

The 2.9 still has the 2.3 inlet, I would wait for the crusher inlet for the 2.9 first before you buy. The 4.0 is a monster and it weighs a ton. I love blowers on the street but I have not seen many cars running blistering track times with them. The amount of TQ they make ya better have your suspension hooked up lol..

Same with the GT500, too many dyno queens maybe? My buddy Ted ran 9.87@140 with a TVS on his 07, stock 6spd and all. Not many of the big blower cars run that! No clue what it made for power, he never dynoed it.

Getting the power to the ground effectively is one of the most overlooked and important things period!

That is why for racing I don't like blowers. So much TQ down low it just tears the shit out of the tire.
