Southern Tier trip planner. Anyone interested in joining us us welcome
The Southern tier group will meet up on Route 96 at the Owego Soft Serve ice cream stand about 1 mile outside of Owego at 800am
The northern group of the club will meet us at the intersection of Route 13 and Route 224 at 9:00 AM. There is the gas station where we meet last year (I think). Alpine Juction
Everybody over 50 can go to the bathroom. Hopefully we can get out of there in 15 minutes
Depart Alpine Junction at 815am and drive to the Walmart in Watkins Glen where we will meet up with group coming down from Rochester at approx.945am.
The track is 5 miles from the Walmart

Hey Cledus, my brother and I may be meeting up with you guys at the Cortland Wal-Mart. Right now I will have to play it by ear, I will be at a concert in Cortland that Sat. night so getting up by 8AM might be a little challenging. My girlfriends apartment where I will be staying is 5 minutes from that Wal-Mart.

Very nice. I am still talking to the Watkins Glen Park & Rec Department. They do not have grills at LaFayette Park. Lakeside park which is still in the village has picnic tables, grills, as well as parking for us to use. There is one big problem. Since the park is not officially open, there are no bathrooms or water. I guess we can always run over to walmart, which is a few blocks away. What are your thoughts and ideas?

I talked to the park department and no parks will be officially open until May, so no water or bathrooms would be available. Lakeside Park is across from Walmart if someone needed to go to the bathroom. I am sorry for any inconvenience and I should of thought of this better. I will contact them tomorrow about the state park. Here is the link of the park relative to the store:
