Tires for the fox

well The car is only going to be driven durning good weather and will be parked at the sign of any precipitation so any suggestions for a good performance tire, under......... lets say......... 120?... something that will last for a while though too.. Right now the tires on the ponys i just picked up are kelly chargers which i heard basically suck, 245/50/16 M+S H rated.. i wish they weren't M+S ... but how do you say no to 200$ chrome ponys?

I think you can pick up Fuzion ZRI tires at pep boys for a reasonable price.

Fuzion ZRis were highly considered but hear they wear relatively quickly

its between the Fuzion ZRis and the Sumitomo HTR Z's

dont bother with nittos theyre a step above street tires hooking wise, Since its not being driven in the rain id say go with a set of mickey thompson or bfg drag radials.

try general UHP's they are low priced and good quality i ran those tires on my lexus never had a problem an if you get a flat you can run on them for a few miles

lol I want street tires, she's not a race car yet..... jeeez.. I still have my windshield wipers. hahah but yeah its between nittos and the sumitomos just waiting for the weather

When I got my fox it had the ponies with cooper cobra's on it. They were nice till I burned em up. They felt pretty sticky in the corners and don't make loud screaching peel out noises that get you caught. Not sure how much they cost though. 245/55 16's
