So, I put a new throttle cable in then took it out returned it to CJ because it was binding up in the housing, sticking, making the engine idle high. and where it came through the firewall, it acted like it was tearing through the housing. Does anyone have any tips on anything that could maybe keep the new cable from binding. We tried anti-seeze in the first one they sent but that didn't really seem to help. All the angles to the gas pedal bracket are good so maybe it was just the cable?? I haven't put the new one on yet but will probably do it tonight without any "additives" to see how this one feels. If anyone has any tips, I'd appreciate it. THANKS!
