Hello All - Happy Holidays!
I am in progress with having my entire top end redone on my 88 Saleen with aftermarket AFR 165 aluminum heads, cam, system max 2 upper and lower, timing chain, blancer and all the goodies to go with it...All was put together by Ed Curtis - also throwing in my sn89 totally rebuilt with larger impeller and pully, MSD dist , 30lb injectors 85mm MAF, 70 mm tb and some other components to beef it up....
I will also have a tremec 3550 installed in place of the T5.
So this is my question -- I wanted to also replace the clutch and flywheel. I was leaning towards the Spec stage 1 kit and a Spec billet steel FW. I was wondering if you guys can provide some feedback about this combo = Is it a good daily driver combo? Is it a good combo for the work that will be done? Anyone use this combo? Like or dislike it?
Any help with my decision will be greatly appreciated!
