Along with giving away their 75th anniversary 2013 Ford Mustang GT, Edelbrock also announced their new Stage 2 E-Force supercharger system for the 2005-2014 Ford Mustang at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. An upgraded version of the supercharger package originally introduced at SEMA in 2008, the Stage 2 systems feature a competition air intake kit, smaller pulley, injectors (if required), fuel pump (if required) and a custom tune. For those Mustang owners who currently have a Stage 1 system Edelbrock is offering an upgrade kit, and new customers can buy the system as an entire package.
When applied to the 2005-2009 Mustang’s 4.6L V8 Edelbrock says the Stage 2 supercharger will produce 529 horsepower and 494 lb-ft torque, while the 2011-2014 Mustang’s 5.0L V8 will put out 529 horsepower and 636 horsepower and 538 lb-ft torque. The only downside is that the upgraded systems aren’t emissions compliant and are for competition use only for those that live in more restrictive states.
