After announcing the return of the 351 Mustang at the LA Auto Show last year and debuting the prototype at the Fabulous Fords at Knotts show back in April, Saleen has announced that they have begun production of their flagship model at their facility in Corona, CA.
“The amount of detail that we had to put in this vehicle is astounding,” said Steve Saleen. “I feel our team has struck the perfect balance of design, technology, and [of course] power.”
The 351 Mustang packs a serious punch with 700 horsepower and 655 lb-ft torque, although Saleen has yet to reveal details about the specifics of the 351 cubic inch engine. The car also features Saleen’s body kit, Red Butterfly hood with center ram air induction system, 20-inch wheels, upgraded suspension interior, custom interior and more. Available in both Hardtop and Convertible, orders for this and other Saleen vehicles can be placed at Saleen dealers nationwide, or by contacting Saleen directly for a personalized ordering process which concludes at the nearest Saleen Authorized Dealership.
