Anyone using the Snow Performance Stage 3 MPG-Max Boost Cooler on their Mustang? I've got a 2000 GT w/ Vortech V3 and after-cooler. I'm interested in installing it because of the obvious more power and, for normal driving, better fuel mileage. I push @ 400 rwhp now with the return-less fuel system. I have a Division X 340 lph fuel pump which is pretty much maxed out at WOT @ 6200 rpm @ 11psi of boost on the dyno w/ 12:1 AFR at that boost level. I'm considering all options and I think the water-meth kit would solve/improve fuel injector duty cycle at WOT, better fuel mileage and of course a few more ponies. Going return style fuel system would not address all these issues and cost more.
What I would like to know is if the system is reliable? Do you see better fuel mileage under normal driving conditions? Does this require a new tune to get these results? (I assume a re-tune would be a good idea anyways).
Just looking for anyone's input on the idea.
Thanks in advance
