
Ford dropped the first details and photos of the all new 2016 Shelby GT350 earlier today, and the car is just about everything we hoped it would be. Designed to dominate both on the street and the track, the new GT350 packs a 5.2-liter V8 with at least 500 horsepower and more than 400 lb-ft torque. The engine isn’t all about peak numbers, though, as the GT350 motor is designed to rev high and freely with a flat-plane frank. Nearly every aspect of the GT350 is designed for improved performance too, from the*widened front track to the increased spring rates and reduced ride height.
While Ford had only released CAD renderings of the car this morning, we can now also bring you the first official photos of the car sporting white paint with blue stripes, just like the 1965 model. You can view the full photo gallery below.
