Back when I worked there in 06...I worked in the Jeep tent...they had a whole obstacle course...with dirt hills and whatnot that the people could actually drive on with NEW Jeeps!

Also....any parking lot by the Javitz...except the park it yourself one that I wrote about...is going to charge HUGE $$$ when there is a show on....ESPECIALLY the Auto show

they charge 30 dollars for the day its the same price weather theres a show or not

I know the parking lot you are talking about and I think that it might be for NYPD or something because everytime I come out from working at the ICFF show there are cop cars parked in there but I may be wrong

ha there are 15 parking lot next to the place now

im game, but deff not going on a sunday. fri or sat is best for me. most deff leave ur stangs at home or take it into queens and take train into the city. the javits center isnt far from time square, so we can have tons of fun that day. you dont want to drive in the city, u'll destroy ur suspension

I went to the auto show last year, had a great time, but the place is off all the transportation hubs, so getting there is hell, unless you pay up for the parking lot or take a taxi!

It think it was a Sunday when I went but it was the last few days of the show and it was packed

thats soo true about the tards that sleep in the cars lol. as for transportation, its only 3 blocks west of penn station!

OK so as far as I can see the biggest problem that we have is going to be transportation to the Javits Center. Some people are going to drive down there and then the only other way to get down there is to take the train or by bus. So for now I was thinking that if you are coming from Westchester we can meet at the New Rochelle train station or in Woodlawn and take the subway from there to Yankee Stadium and then connect with the D subway and from there connect to the A line and get off at the Penn Station/LIRR which brings you the closest to the Javits Center at 8th and 34th Street and from there its a 3 block walk with the entrance to the Javits Center on 11th. For the BK/QU/LI guys can take the LIRR or meet us at the Javits Center. I am open and welcome any ideas to make this easier on us.

or better yet you guys can drive down to me and park at my house and just take the 6 train all the way down to 42nd and take the shuttle across and walk down 3-4 blocks saves you about 1.5

im going into grand central and walking down the 10 blokcs lol do it every year , and just tell me where and what time and what day u guys are going and if i go the same day ill meet up but already made plans to go on a certin date

Ok So April 4th is Easter Sunday and for those of us who do celebrate Easter chances are we are going to be with our families that day so does anyone have any other ideas on when they would like to go, we are all open to suggestions.

wish it was that easy, im the manager there, but we'll c as time passes and we get closer to the dates

and guys, for transportation, NYC is KNOWN for the million+ ways of getting around. l think we can all meet up in queens with the cars, have breakfast at an ihop or w/e and take a train into the city

ok like sean stated the 4th is easter sunday, this show runs from the 2nd to the 11th, i can only make it if its a friday, saturday or sunday due to class..please pick a day that works the best and if its not a weekend day i might have to work around that.


booby that sucks... ...and ur idea to get breakfast and all that sounds awesome gives us a chance for those that havent met to sit down and chat and i love pancakes ...since im taking a bus into NYC and i have no clue where i am you all need to let me know whats going on...lol

Ok so does anyone have any days that would be better preferably a Friday or a Saturday as that would better fit with peoples' schedules. I was thinking April 3rd which would be the first Saturday of the show.
