I don't get on here much, I'm real busy as of late. I sold my F2 Procharged car a.k.a 1UGLYFOX, and I built this.



I need to get on C16 before we can really make some power with it, I only have six passes total on it.

I'm also new to the turbo deal, so don't flame me too hard on my starting line skills. :smash:

Ohh my goodness... Thats BADASS..... Sweet ride man!!! Turbos are awesome but hard to launch. It has to be spooled up just right!! Keep up the good work man!!

The converter is way too tight, hence the lack off boost of the line, it stalls at 3200, I need it at 4200. I'm running a AMS1000 boost controller, so it brings it in gradually anyways.

The whole car only has 6 passes on it, so once the converter is redone, it should get ALOT better.

I need to get a 3000 stall, my current one is too tight. Does your transmission run how due to the stall being to tight?

Just to understand whats going on....

You stand on the foot brake, it goes to 3200 and no higher?

Who is doing your converter?

I believe that I've figured out the problem with the lack of boost on the line. I'm very new to the turbo deal,so it's a very steep learning curve. I'm running CO2 on my gate, but I was spooling/staging with my foot at 1/2 throttle, so as to not trigger the datalog as it starts at 81% TPS. my CO2 trigger is on a WOT switch....hence, no CO2 on the gate at spool up...3# spring...3.5#'s of boost.

What can I say but to plead ignorance, my thinking was that the AMS 1000 would start to run the boost program if I went WOT...after reading the manual for the 5th time, there is a "clutch reset option" ....translated...when I go on the brake...all timer's reset....so I had to turn that option on in the AMS.

I have it figured out now...I hope...just need to get back to the track and give it a try.

It's a UCC converter. I imagine another 4-5 pounds of boost off the line should help...lol. I think the converer will be fine once there is some boost pushing against it.

Glad you figured it out... It should start the countdown from releasing the TB.

Id hate to see someone take a converter out once its in for a problem un-related.
