Vinyl or painted? Before I decided to not do them, I was going to do vinyl. While paint is the best option, I figured I'd do vinyl so I could take it off if I didn't like it after a while. My plan was to tackle it myself. I spoke with a guy at show once and he said you just need to take your time.
I spoke with another guy, he had small stripes put on the sides of the 'power dome' on the hood (and nothing else), and he said it cost him $300. I think we said to install, but it must have also included the cost of the stripes. Being anal and cheap

I did some srufing around, but never narrowed down a vendor. I did decide/learn to make sure to pick high quality stuff (e.g. 3M).
I believe there are two types of louvers. One just goes on with double-sided tape, and the other you take out the window and replace the entire unit. I would think the stick-ons are good enough.
