Hello, I'm Mark and I'm a Mustangaholic. :D

I recently moved back to the Niagara Area after spending the last 25 years in Chicago and thought I'd join a forum in my new-old home state. I've owned 13 Mustangs of various age and quality over the years, most notably a 1965 Fastback and a 2004 Mach 1 (hence my username) with a smattering of Foxes as well. Currently I'm between ponies thanks to my former employer deciding they no longer required my services after 17 years but I will own another one in the future.

Anyway, glad to have found you all and thanks for having me.

Hey i gave my 01 back to the bank last year due to layoff. Now i have a job and got some money from the wife to buy another mustang this year. So welcome we have all been there sometime or another.

Thanks for the encouragement, I really appreciate it. Turned 40 last September, lost my job in October, and then sold the house in December so 2010 really sucked for me. Unfortunately thanks to the housing market I basically broke even on the house and without a job I'm now a renter for the first time in 13 years. Kinda sucks as I was going to be building a 3 car garage this spring and planned on buying my dream car in 2012, a 1969/70 Mach 1. Funny how life throws you a huge curve when you least expect it, ain't it? Although I should add that I'm probably the happiest I've been in years as I did get a respectable severance package and I'm able to enjoy life a little before looking for work this Fall. Sucks to start all over again but I was ready for a change and would have never done it without being kicked out the door.
