New form Holland, coming over to NY for holiday!

Hi Guys,

I'm Bart living in The Netherlands, I'm 27, driving a '68 coupe, 289ci, PS, Discs, Shelby Dropped, etc etc.





The 14th of October I'm coming over to New York, Manhatten for a relative short holiday of 1 week.
It's my first trip to the States.
We're gonna visit the standard tourist places, but we're also gonna visit an Orange County Choppers meeting in Newburgh, an icehockey game.

So now I'm searching for a Mustang parts shop in New York to take some parts back home. All the parts are much cheaper in the States as in Holland...

Maybe you can help me with some tips about where to find Mustang parts, and maybe tools stores etc. Because also the "inch-size" tools are much more expensive at our place...

Welcome to NYM..nice classic.You can get a good set of Craftsman tools at Sears when you come over,as for parts it depends on what you are looking for

Well, i'm thinking about a set of new shocks, oilpump, waterpump, fuel pump, some new wiring harness, ex/interieur detailing, standard service parts, etc.

Not those big things like disc swap kits.

We can import stuff to a max of 430 euro's (500 dollar) without paying any taxes. And an extra suitcase costs 50 dollar...

Hello and welcome to the site.That's a beautiful car you have there. As far as parts I could possibly help you out,If you wanted to email me a specific list I could advise/steer you in the right direction.

@ 06RFStang,we'll definitely stop by Sears, from what I see online, it's a big ass store :)

Yeah, I'm reaaaaly excited!!!

Probably will be speechless when I'm walking around in your area....

Don't know if you guys ever been to the Netherlands, but I think it will be an amazing experience...

I'm landing on Newark.. are there any Stangers out there willing to give us a welcome ride to the Hotel ;-)

oh man, that is awesome a real classic, i hope you talk to ponyboy hes likea damn guru when it comes to your cars, but its so cool that you are coming from holland and have heard about NYM,
