New 5.0 vs LS1 Camaro

ROFL, ok that explains it. I will tell you a driver mod is worth .2-.9 in the 1/4 from experience. I have driven ALOT of cars at the track and one car I ran almost 1 second faster with. It was a 88 Turbo Supra, I ran a 14.4@99 all it had was intercooler piping and intake. I cut a 2.0x 60ft on some super old tires with it too.

The driver looks like a big guy too.

and that article was dynoed in 4th, which is NOT the 1:1 gear of the new mustang.

My car pushing 600rwhp on the dyno too... in 1st...


Just think of what low drivetrain loss is needed for the mustangs to be dnyoing at 395.. and.. if they were pushing 395.. I damn well hope they would hit a lot better than high 12s...

Yeah but Edmonds and Motor Trend both Dynoed the 2011 and they came out with around 390rwhp ... They both believe that the 2011 is under rated by Ford. I agree with them I personally think the 5.0 is pushing out somewhere around 420-430 hp. It was dynoed both in 3rd and 4th

Not to mention the fact that the driver is probably around 250+ and his passenger is around 250 and the engine isn't broken in yet
