its not done yet, i go back in two weeks to finish it all off.
its going to end up as a shamrock cut out of my skin to reveal the knotwork underneath. the writing around it is Gaelic and translates as "In loving memory of my father"
and yes, it did hurt.

thanks everyone, im also taking suggestions on the coloring of the knotwork. im thinking a kind of light blue. definitely not green though. i dont want to look like a christmas present. the outline of the shamrock is going to be a pinkish red look, kinda like fresh cut skin.
