I listened to the weather forecast this morning. Talk about covering your butt. Chance of a passing thunderstorm. I took a chance on winning a Mustang and that didn't happen. Passing where? For how long? Is it going to happen predicting at 30%. I'd be worried if I was going in for an operation with a 30% chance of survival.

Right now I am going for it. I will clean the car when I get home tomorrow night if it rains. They are not predicting hail like we got caught in last year, just rain. I will take a look at it at 10:00 tonight. If the number goes higher, I may coming in the Explorer. We are talking " PARTY" and I am in. This will turn into a meet and greet either way. We can still tour the park as a group.

I would hate to sit home under cloudy skies waiting for it to rain when I could be doing something else. Let's move the benches out, park the cars under the shelter and bring raincoats and sit outside in the rain. I think the park police would really love that. NOT

Shady-ooc, I think some others are bringing children. This is a family affair, so everyone is welcome. As far as food, just a thought, I'm going to wegmans or somewhere and getting subs and drinks to bring. That way I don't have to mess with charcoal and stuff like that. There is 4 grills there to use if you want to grill. If you go back a bit to the earlier posts, someone posted pictures of the area we are going to be at. check it out, it's pretty nice. We are leaving the cracker barrel at 10:00. See you there.

I am bringing a tuna mac salad to pass. There are grills there and someone is bringing charcoal.

Picked up 4 dozen of sweet corn tonight. Hopefully someone shows up to help eat it! There are plenty of grills inside and out at the lower falls pavilion. I would think once we get a few going we will be able to cook alot. I will have extra hotdogs and burgers if anyone needs them. I will bring garbage bags also. Along with a couple of mustangs, I will also be bringing my truck to bring the cooker for the sweet corn. I can take all the trash back with me. I will be there rain or shine. It will be sunny!

yeah, it sux, bubba. i really wanted to do this!!! ugh. just found out that my husband's cousin is a coke head big time -- so family intervention day. it's pretty terrible. when it rains it pours it seems.... if anything changes i'll try my best to be there.
