i dont understand the maf that comes in different sizes ....since i have a 70mm tb and egr plate should i get a 70mm maf? and will the computer just plug in ...cause i see you have to play with 4 wires? can someone clear this up for me
do i need the whole wiring harness? ....cause i saw a wiring kit for the conversion and i think it showed ethier 4 or 6 wiring to put in somewhere and to change the computer and that was basicly the swap

Just pop the chip out and it would be ok, but is better off going with a 5spd computer since his car is 5spd already. Unless it was a auto swapped to a 5spd then it would be ok.
Did the C&L have the 24lb tube in it? There are 2 different ways to program the chip when you use a calibrated MAF. You can enter the actual transfer function and injector settings, or you can just leave the stock injector settings and scale back the displacement to correct the load by the ratio of the stock and new injectors.

24lb tube in the C&L, and idono how it was tuned, but the guy i bought it from really knew his shit, and probably had it taken to a tuner ... he does alot via computer, soo maybe if was a full stand alone tune? idono... i never asked him..

Ok, he would be safe is he used that exact meter then. The "correct" way is to enter the MAF transfer of the meter then the injector settings to get an OEM like tune. You can use any size calibration meter you want, 24, 30,42 etc as long as you know the transfer function. You can make a close estimation too by using the ratio of the new and old injector size and apply it to the stock transfer function.
