Oh and for those that don't know the A card reference refers to WWII when we were rationing gas you would get a letter and display it in your car. You were allowed to get gas only on the days that corresponded with your letter so if you ran out of gas on a day that didn't have your letter you were SOL until you could get gas the next available day
