Hey folks.

new to the forum. I'm looking for an 87-93 mustang lx 4 cylinder hatchback. tranny preferably being a standard. looking for something cheap. want to find one i can drive for a few months then use the parts to fix my current 87 notchback and 79 mustang pace car. if you know of any please let me know.

i'll take some when I am home this weekend but it needs a ton of work. exterior body is good with no rust, but haha! does need a radiator core support, floor pans, right rear frame rail, and a trunk pan. not to mention a new engine and the orig front seats. I like projects if you couldn't tell. clear title with all the paperwork in my name. is a 5.0 4spd car. has a t-5 in it right now. engine was over revd and droped a valve which blew out cyl 1. big chunk missing out of the bottom of the cylinder. not sure if i want to have it repaired to keep it #s matching to just save the block and get a rollor block out of a later model.

cool, i just got a "79 pace car with a turbo 4 in it, body is good but i need to replace a floor also, my framerails are good though. mine also needs seats recovered

sweet dude. those little 2.3's can get some serious hp out of them. check out esslinger engineering if your not already familiar. the front seats in my car are out of a later model so now i have to find the oem pace car seats and have them re covered im sure. they still make and sell the hounds tooth. check out the 79 pace car entusiests forum they have a link to the company that sells the stuff. big dollars. does yours still have the metric trx tires on it? been thinking about what to do there also. really dont feel like spending 300 a tire for those bastards.
