Yup!! If cruzmach is going to race his as much as you I would do the control arms too but if it's just a streeter with limited track use I would stay with factory arms.
A k-member and coil overs is fine for a daily driver. I would just use the stock control arms as they are better suited to absorb bad roads and have better bushings. The factory control arm will bolt into most aftermarket k-members.
