hahaha well!!!!! my buddy with his blown and juiced 95 gt (my mechanic) basically told me he would help me collect pop cans to get a cam if needed.... so I decided I want the tfs-1 cam.

However I do need rr's I found a set of 1.72 scorpion rrs. Is this a good idea or should I stick to the 1.6 rrs?

If you are going to run the TFS Stage 1 I'd get 1.6 rockers. You will more than likely need a tune with it but not a huge deal. I had that cam in my 331

damn that car is nasty... i wanted an 87-93 gt before I got my 95... anyways that answers my rr question and I am going to order a chip for it once I have all the parts... then save up for a tune. I should prob buy an a/f wideband guage as well?

just picked up a set of harland sharp 1.6 rrs! i pretty much only need injectors, cam and a few gaskets and ill be ready to start building!

You don't really need a wideband, it is nice to have but not a must have for a basic combo like you have. Don't bother with the chip right off, wait and see how it runs 1st. I also really liked the Steeda #19 in my friends 94 GT.

yeah i am not sure on which cam exactly yet but its getting one at any rate. just for ref. would it be easier to just pull the engine out to do all this work to it? either way its a weekend project and the equipment is available.

i have been looking at either the steeda 18 or steeda 19 cam... the 18 seems to be more street strip and the 19 is more supercharged apps? the only big difference I see is lobe separation of 112* and 115* respectively. Which one will suit my build better?

Some are saying the 19 doesnt start "working" until around 3500 rpms.... that seems like a lot. I am open for suggestions at this point because it is my daily driver

I think the 19 came on sooner than that for sure, my friend ran it SC'ed and NA in his 94 GT and it worked great. It also required no tuning at all where as many other cams do.

the no tuning issue sounds pretty good because I want to wait for that if possible. I think i am going to go with the 19 cam....

Wish I had some vids of his car. I put GT40x heads on it for him, the Steeda 19, and Cobra intake. Nothing crazy but it worked well. It had a SQ-Trim but he ended up selling it and staying NA. It ran great both ways. Another guy I know used it in his 93 Cobra and make some great power with a Kenne Bell on his car.

sweet! so I should be just fine and happy with my hci upgrade over stock? thats what I like to hear! I'll def post some pics when we start putting it together!
