Selling my CBR F4 only because I dont have the time to use it. I have owned this bike for the almost 6 yrs and absolutely love it! Super comfortable riding position, I've taken this on 12hr trips and never had a sore back or knees. Great bike for a beginner or an expierenced rider. It was my first bike and in 5 yrs I never once had the desire for anything else, even after riding my friends R1, GSX-R's ect. This really offers the best of both worlds.
I've owned the bike since 2006. It has been responsibly operated. I used it for touring, trips to Deals Gap (Smokey Mountains) etc. Never stunted with or wheelied or any of that stuff. This is an extemerly reliable, comfortable and FUN bike. I'm only selling it b/c since I moved down to NJ I really dont have the time to ride it anymore.
Condition: The bike is in very good condition. It did fall over once in the garage but suffered only very minor scrapes on the faring. Mechnically it is flawless.Starts right up every time. I changed the oil and filter every 1500miles. Clutch is great, tires are almost new, about 85% tread on the rear, 90% on the front. (Pilot Powers)
New: -Practically brand new tires ~$500
- Brand new Chain and sprockets (less than 100miles on them) - $450
- Brand New clutch cable (less than 100 miles on it)
Extras:
- Speedo Calibrator - I got this b/c when I bought he bike it had an altered gear ratio, I replaced the sprockets with OEM ones and you may or may not want to use the Speedo Cal.
- Vance & Hines exhaust - I have the stock OEM one as well. The Vance and Hines sounds great without being anoying or tinny like a crappy Micron or the likes
- Corbin seat - yea so what its a banana seat, its comfortable as all heck!
I also have a ton of gear that can come with the bike. (2) Helmets, (1) Mens Large Aplinestars leathe Jacket, (2) womens jackets (both leather and textile, a Nelson Riggs Tail Pack and (2) saddle packs which actually looks pretty good on the bike and are great for long trips. I also have a Nelson Riggs Backpack. - Well over $1000 worth of gear.
One of the pics has the tail pack on it, you can use the saddle bags with the tail pack as well, I just didn't for this short trip I took
