I'm glad I found this site--looks very interesting! I live way up North, not far from Malone.... any farther North and I'd be Canadian--haha! My Stang story goes like this....when I was just a kid, maybe 4 or 5 years old, my uncle on dad's side had a black '65 fastback, while my aunt on mom's side had a yellow '66 coupe. My aunt used to pick me up in her Stang, and take me to the local country store, which at that time was owned by my Granddad's brothers--my great uncles. They would always give me a handful of candy from the old style glass containers on the counter. Growing up, I always loved that "candy-car", and all the old Mustangs.
During the 70s and 80s, I thought the Stang looked like just another car on road... the looks began to improve some in the 90s--but when Ford came out with the retro styling in 2005-- I knew I had to have one! I got a black auto with int/ext sports packages-- and I love it! Best car I've ever owned!
