Just joined, was reffered by Ray with a 2002 GT don't know his last name but I hope he's happy with the turbo mufflers I sold him. Anyway some background on myself. Been into Mustangs since their inception (yes I'm old ha ha) back at the 1964/65 NY Worlds Fair. I've owned several Mustangs, Shelbys and Cougars over the years and used them as daily drivers up until about 1995, when whatever I owned was garaged and used for shows and occasional drives.
My current ride was just purchased recently and is a georgous 1968 Mustang coupe. The previous owner took the car down to the shell and did a complete restoration of body, interior and mechanicals. The original 289 2v was completely rebuilt with worked 302 heads and many other goodies bringing her up to 325 horsepower with a 10:1 compression ratio. Transmission is an all new T5 conversion with a new Currie 3:80 posi rear to complete the driveline. The body is near flawless and finished in Ford Competition Red. The interior was redone in stock black standard vinyl. The suspension was not overlooked and sports lowered progressive springs with front and rear sway bars. I have just replaced the 17x8 Mach I wheels with more factory looking 15" Magnum 500's and Bf Goodrich T/A's. The car is in the shop as I write this receiving all new brakes with power disc conversion. I can't wait to drive it again. I look forward to reading the forums and being in touch with other Mustang Nuts !!
Thank you,
