replace the cats with high flows to start. or cut out the cats and replace them with regular piece of exhaust pipe. either way try to keep your stock cats intact.

Rami, when i took my exhaust off... twice. first time it was 1 AM i only revved it at 2k rpm. And second time it wasn`t completely off ( welding ) and it sounded GOOD !!

I decided though, i`ll get high flow cats and delete the mufflers.

Questions:

Where can i find high flow cats?
Which ones should i get?
Can i pass inspection with them ?
I hope they'll be less than $300 . I want good ones though

4. do not delete the mufflers yet. research some flow through designs first. or delete the mufflers and put small resonators in

I can't stand the crackle of no mufflers when you let off, but under load they sound great. You should have waited on the exhaust, and done a full system with an x pipe and a GT catback.

resvon, it may sound good up to 2k but at 4k it will sound like ass. for starters, get rid of the dual Y pipes and get true duals

This is confusing . I think i`m just gonna wait until after the holidays and then do ANYTHING because there`s too much commotion right now i`m too confused.. Headers, no headers, cats no cats mufflers nu mufflers, dual not dual. Ouch my head .

I think he just wants a loud and annoying v6 that has no bite to back it up.
get high flow cats so you can pass inspection and get a h pipe or x pipe than get headers

theres a 98 BAB Cobra with 90k on craigslist for 6500. theres a 00 GT with 100k for 6000. Ill take the cobra
