Would 3.73s be the best choice for my car? I hear people saying that with the 4.10s their cars top out at like 85. What u guys think?

Auto 4.10s all the way, stick the common consensus is 3.73s but i know pleanty of people with 4.10s and a manual that don't have any problems with them besides MPG lol.

Top out as in top speed. I'm looking for a clean 8.8 with at least 3.55 gears but if I can't find one by June I might just stick with the 7.5 rear :/

No way it's gonna top out at 85 MPH. You can easily get up to the speed limiter at 115 MPH.

Yeah no way! People uses those gears when they drag race, they see speeds beyond 120 mph and not a problem.

What about drone on the highway? My flowmasters have a loud drone on the highway (i Dnt mind though but all my friends and family hate it lol) would the drone het considerably worse with gears ?

Drone has nothing to do with gears. It has to do with the exhaust. It is just sound waves reverberating from the mufflers back to your exhaust valves IIRC.

Get them professionally installed though and go with FRPP gears. The motive ones are good but are louder (gear whine) than the FRPP gears.

From a regular shop I've heard of people paying around $250. If you go to a dealership it will cost much more than that.

The money is well worth it! If not you can prematurely wear your gears and you will have some pretty nasty gear whine

The entire axle .... I might want a supercharger later down the road.

You can try and look for them on ebay or even online. I believe they run around 700 bucks and you can get the full rebuild kit from American Muscle.

You can use this and upgrade your dif. while your at it. You can get a torsen dif or you can put in a tru trac if you would like as well plus put in whatever gears that you would want to put in. Just a thought

I'm on a tight budget so Id rather find a rear with 3.55s gears or 3.73s if I can b4 I pull the trigger on gears for my 7.5. I'm trying to get some info on what gears to get just in case I end up with my 7.5

What kind of budget? I will keep looking around for an 8.8 axle that should help meet your budget
