I am selling my set of Doug Thorley Tri-Y full length headers and x-pipe for $250.
These were on my 1991 LX 5.0 EFI Mustang and worked great. Fitment is a bit tight, but that's like all long-tubes.
If your not familiar with Tri-y headers, the only difference is...ordinary full length headers have each primary that meets at the collector. Tri-Y headers have two primaries that meet into a secondary, that then meet at the collector. This is popular with trucks, because it retains the bottom-end torque that you loose with full lengths and you still get the increase in top-end power. Win-Win! This worked great for me, because I did not want to loose any low-end power for auto-cross. But I liked to sound and top-power a full length header has to offer.
I recently took these off my LX to do a coyote swap and can't use them. When I bought these, I sent them out to Jet-Hot for a coating...only about a year ago. They are still in very good shape, the whole process cost about $200, plus fitting the x-pipe...so I think $250 is a fair asking price.
