fuel line questions

i have a non efi tank but im going efi so i was wondering could i just use high pressure fuel line with an in-line fuel pump but does a 1980 mustang tank have a return line? or t it back itno the supply line or should i get a later model fuel pick-up or full 1987-1993 tank? also what should i do for a vent just a vented gas cap or a vent line

so im gonna need the later model tank? couldnt i just t back into the supply line after the fuel pump? and keep the stock pick up and stock vent line? just redoing the lines with high pressure lines?
