got a few more questions, bare with me guys, im completely new to exhausts :D if u purchase a true fir cat back system, what parts do they replace? what are the list of exhaust parts on a stock gt? so i can know what i need to get done

It replaces everything from the Cats Back. Basically, it does not touch the stock h-pipe. You will get the mufflers and tail pipes. Thats all the system consists of. I would pick the 2 1/2 system with the bigger tips. Looks better. I bet probably take a half hour at the most to put this system on.

I never have, just checked their site out. Looks exactly like SLP, but cheaper. To honest with you i've always been a Flowmaster guy.

The "high-Flow" cats you talk about are going to run you a high penny. There is 2 less converters too, thats why their "high-flowing"

They all sound like that. lol. Is there a budget? Look into magna flow or borla if you like to spend alot. Flowmaster is good, Pypes, SLP, FlowTech, theres tons of them out there.

yeah ive been listening to them all, and to me borla, slp and pypes sound too similar to ricers. (no offense to any of those who have em) i personally love the deep thundering roars. the two i found so far was the 1 i linked and SSS. but im not sure what are the parts i need to order, im hoping they are going to be bolt on. im open to anything else that sound similar

i was told that there would be splicing involved and the inspection thing really turned me off. im now looking into this setup:

Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-back
Bassani Off-road X-pipe
Stock Headers

i found the bassani off-raod x pipe in to models with or without the cats. so im assuming if i get em with the cats, i wont have any legal probelms with the nazis, heres the sound clip

i, just tryin to figure out if they are going to be ez bolt ons. if u cant hear the clip, username is jim. pass is jimjar09

can i get the x pipe without the cats? since im getting the flowmaster american cat back. or do the cats have to be on the xpipe too? im just asking cuz its more than a $200 difference if i get the bassani off-road xipipe with or without them.

i know, u guys must hate me by now :D

Not Cats=No Pass NYS inspection unless you know the guy. As soon as they see no cats they will lower your car and tell you that your car will not pass the NYS inspection. Or Just keep the stock one and right before inspection switch everything and you will pass. I say buy the off-raod X pipe. Keep the Stock one and switch it when you go to have it inspected. Might be a pain in the arsh, but it's better then paying $450+ for X pipe with cats, and still might have problems come inspection time.

well the mac prochamber is a off road mid pipe. off road mid pipes dont have cats. so itd be the same if you got the bassani or the pro chamber. neither passes inspection.
