Drag Wheels...Street Driving

I'm looking to get a set of drag wheels and had a question...I was wondering if it was safe to make the 25mile trip to the track, with drag wheels such as Bogarts...I know Bogart says they're intended for the track use only...just wondering...

It should not be a problem. I run pro stars on the rear to/ from the track w/o issues. That being said if you are running skinnies in the front extreme cornering is a :bigno:

the only tires i have for my car are weld draglites..5 inch fronts with 195s and 8 inc rears with 10.5 slick. street driven every day. i drive it all over the place with no problems

I would not drive the one piece Bogarts on the streets, but a 2 piece like the D10's would be fine.

I have draglites on my car 15x8 in the rear 15x3.5 in the front, and have no problem on the street, if i am not whipping it into corners.

I'd think you'd be able to drive to the track & change all 4 there...LVD pretty safe!

I know someone that cracked the stars on two 2 piece bogarts street driving them...There not made to be driven on the street why take a chance. comparing draglites to bogarts is like comparing apples to oranges..
