How much is a detail ? And what exactly does detail mean ? What do they do to the car.. and where can i get it done ?

a good detailing will run you 150-200$. not eaxactly sure of everything that gets done but it does take a long time

Sounds about right ^^^^ ...I've been doing them for years....clean clean clean...I ejoy detailing the engine the most!

Extensive wash, polishing, waxing, and i'm sure other things I'm leaving out...

And thats just the exterior.

Then do it youself and save the money. You don't have to be a genius to figure that out!!

If you want to go hXc, I'd suggest on orbital buffer. However, if you have a junker, try practicing on that first...other wise there is a chance you'll ruin your car, first time out. I used it to apply wax on my sister's car, and it came out great.

I got a spot over here that will do it reasonable they do my car and my friends car each under $100 including interior shampoo and wax

I`ll just do it myself... hand wash.. vacuum shampoo mats and stuff like that..

some idiot got engine oil on my door handle a few days ago .. .thankfully it`s plastic.. had it on the mats too but after 1 hour of rubbing 2 carpets.. it came out... almost


Oh that`s more like it =].. after i take the car to get it checked.. maintainance, oil stuff like that.. i`ll put her up for detailing ;p tthx

Any one know where there is a great one in Suffolk county. I would do it myself but I will be having surgery on my elbow in a few weeks.
