I have my new set of 20" foose with tires. Now I need to install the tpms. I already have the monitors and bands. What would a shop roughly charge for something like that? Or should I say screw it and deal with the little light?
When I got my new rims put on I think I paid about $120 bucks for them to
1. take off the tpms sensors from the stock tires
2. put them and the brackets onto the new rims
3. mount and balance the new rims/tire
4. remount the original rim/tire
just install the tpms your self if you dont have tires on them yet. it is very simple and straight forward. the only thing you need to remember if you decide to do it yourself is to put the sensor 180 degrees from the valve stem location. then all you need then after the tires have been installed is to have a shop "activate" the sensors. i know that my shop only charges about $10 to reprogram the tpms
