ya im not sure what my next move is. seems strange to me that is a normal prob but i guess some more investigating is in order. it builds pressure becouse evertime i take the cap off it releases. maybe i will go to ford and start with a new rad cap.

i called the guy i bought the car from and we were talking and he said the car did it since day 1.there were a couple of guys on fnsweet with roushs one 03 380r and an 01 stage 2 that also have the same prob

where is the t stat. is it in the intake manifold where the upper hose connects to the manifold? and the spring goes down into the manifold?

...at this point I'd replace the t-stat & hose (hard to believe with only 6400 miles)!!! :nono:

i dont even have 6400 yet only 6330. but i dont know i guess the car sits to much. im going to ford to get a rad cap t stat and an upper hose

does anyone know if you can buy the mass air sensor seprate from the housing. just noticed today that when they istalled the cold air kit they cracked the housing and appoxied back together. the list of bullshit is adding up know. also the hose going to the intercooler res is leaking. its not the hose. its seeping out the end of the hose going to buy a new hose and try that out i hope its not the resievor itself

are there any ford dealerships that give a discount or does anyone know a good place to go for a better price? need the bracket that holds maf sensor. anyone have the instructions for a mac cold air kit i think mine is put together wrong and they cracked the maf sensor bracket when they installed it

it may only have 6300 miles on it but its 8 years old. ive seen certain cleaners and stuff that makes hoses look shiney weaken the rubber. its the factory hose right? not a napa or anything?
