cervinis ram air kit heads up

Just letting everyone who has thought about getting the cervinis ram air kit for there 1181 or 1181b hood, that you must use your stock airbox.

Would be nice of them to let us know before hand. I am not concerned since the S/C I am going with uses the stock airbox.

That thing was a bitch to screw to the hood, i just cut the section where it comes down to the air box so i can keep my cold air kit

my hood will be off when I do mine, so that should make life a bit easier.

Thanks for the heads up. Maybe I will just bust out the fiberglass and mold it in so it doesn't look like an add on.

I know, much more work, but I think it will be well worth it.

I am also putting in some mesh for the nostrils. I have them all made just need to find a way to mount them.

I didnt have any mesh. I wanted to do billet inserts to go with the grill but never did it.

Should look great i thought about the screen, but post a pic if you mold the ram air in would look really good if you did
Dont have a screen really dosent dirty the air filter anymore than it did
