"Cats out of the Bag" PART II - Orange Rob

....Well, we all saw Orange Rob's "Cats out the Bag" thread with the Prochagrer F1A Cog set-up....

So...Part II was started yesterday for the Beast to be!!!!!

So here's the details:

Last weekend we had 351Cobra (Keith) weld in some Kenny Brown Subframe connectors - getting painted today!!

...then came the next task - T-56 removal....

Out with the old....

In with the new...

FB Performance Race Spec 4R70W Overdrive Transmission

...and a Job well done in less then 7 hours as supervised by the Garage "Super"... Saleen ...Quality is Job 1!!!!

....More to follow...stay tune!!!!!

That T56 is only rated for 450 Pounds from the factory granted a lot of guys get more out of them but it's living on the edge!

IMHO the driver plays a big role with the equipment!!! ....I never broke my Tremec 3550HD the was rated right around those same numbers, with my old Fox...and I had some 80+ passes in the mid 10's, never broke!!

Guess I'm living on the edge ....Fun fun fun

That's true! Driver does play into it without a doubt absolutely!

IMHO I would rather do all the supporting mods first and then bring the big power on- I want to make sure it's done right and I do not have to revisit that section of my car again unless it's for maintenance. Work easier, not harder! That's exactly what you guys have done so far with that Auto being in there!! Nothing to break!
