I was wearing a white Detroit Motor City Woodward Ave shirt with a 1969 Boss Mustang on it.

No it was a red NYM shirt that were made for last years 6 Hours at the Glen show. Only maybe 20 people that got the shirt and it was designed only for that show by redlawyers.

I think the statement that this is more of an internet group is not far off but I also think if guys in local regions got together a couple of times we would all feel more comfortable making sure we travel as a group to shows and events. The fact we walk past each other at shows and don't even know who we are pretty much sums it up. Just a thought

Hmmm I guess i didn't see you than. I did see someone off in the distance with a grey one that I thought was AlblackGTCS (at least I think that's his name on here) but then I turned around and Al was behind us and when I went to go look for him again he was gone lol.

Personally, for next year. Perhaps we can create a thread of people who tentatively will be going. Then we may have a list of "folks to look out for" so that we can say hi and hang out for a bit. I am sure people can spare a little time just to get together, say hi, check out each other's cars and what-not.

Additionally, could we even see if we can have a NYM specific line of cars so that we all park together? I know that some of us park with other groups. Ex. Yellow Mustangs, classics, etc. I'm just thinking of ideas.

That's not a bad idea. Maybe have a time frame of an hour or so for people to stop by and meet each other.

I was actually expecting to see nym cars by the nym tent, but I noticed a few cars elsewhere. I've never been to Carlisle so I didn't know how they did things.

Yeah, it was my first time going to Carlisle as well. There were NYM cars in all different locations. That's fine in all, but it would be nice if we represented ourselves better. So, let's make an effort for next year then.

They were trying to discourage clubs to park together and keep cars in their class. Basically if you parked with your club there was a good chance your car would not be judged. Personally I would rather park with my club and friends than win a plaque

Really? I guess they didn't want to have extra work going back and forth between cars in different areas. I agree, I don't really care about plaques either.
