I may just go buy a wrecked one and swap everything out in the spring lol ... Besides my car sounds good

I will definitively be calling you, I will need all of the help I can get. I am trying to find a wrecked 5.0 that still has all the electronics in tact and that is a manual so I will be swapping the interior and drive train over to my car. Shooting for a 550+ HP N/A car that can run 10s with a good driver i.e. not me lol

Can someone tell me more about drag racing at this event ? is it worth even trying ? Do most people show up with dedicated drag cars and run low 10's and high 9's ?

Hey Russ, there is not a drag strip at Carlisle. It is a show. Mustang week has the autocross and drag racing.
Carlisle will have 9 second cars in full race trim, but just to show off, not to race.
