Well there was no PTV contact, apparently it was a bent exhaust valve stem up top causing the rocker or lifter to pop up which is what that sound was. They sent out the heads to get looked at to see why exactly it did that because as far as they could tell everything was installed correctly. They said maybe a worn out valve guide causing a little play and it wasn't seated exactly straight so maybe that bent it. They said it was wearing a little bit on the cam lobe but they said it wasn't bad and they said just a little polishing up and its fine, nothing serious.
While the heads are out, I figure why not do a little porting too ;-) lol .... I hope I have her back by next week but if not I guess it won't be until I get back from coming back to NY for 10 days! woohoo.
Cushman Motorsports has said several times that their stage 3 blower cams work fine with stock heads, blower cams are different that N/A cams. They said their stage 2 N/A cams would probably cause PTV issue.
