Hello everyone, my name is cal from town of newburgh. I purchased a 96 gt convertible about a year ago, very clean with only 60,000. miles. I pretty much parked it in my garage and havent driven it since. Im lookin to make some mods on the exhaust , and thought I could really use some advice from the guys out their that are doin it , and know what there talkin bout. Im interested in off road pipes and flowmasters, but im afraid she wont pass inspection and check engine lights will come on. thanks for any advice you can give glad to be on board, ill send some pics.

welcome to NYM,

off road pipes are sick but they'll never pass inspection, so unless you can buy the inspection sticker some were, you should go H-pipe with high flow cats. I personally would go long tube headers aswell, if you have the money and patience to install them.

Welcome! O/R mid pipes won't pass inspection, but just keep the stocker and throw it on when inspection time rolls around! Welcome again to the club!:)

Well i got a OR X-pipe with MagnaFlow "Magna-packs". stock headers. mine didnt pop engine light :) thank god, but if it does pop the engine light and ur worried bout inspection mil eliminators might help...

thanks for all the advice and thanks for reachin out to me . lookin foward to meetin yall in the spring. hopefully ill have my exhaust done and some other goodies by then. :rock:
