I just went to a few shops around here.. Best price i got was from Mobil and i don`t like the way they work... $230 for : air filter, spark plugs, oilchange + filter.

Whats $150 worth of labor, screw that. Some people here offered to help me out, if it`s still available, i would highly appreciate it ! I`ll bring beers :awesomework:

Dude, forget the plugs already, you only have 25k on the car, they're good for 100k. Air filter takes about 5 minutes to drop in. If your scared to change the oil yourself, try a quick oil change place, even with synthetic, which you do not need in that car, it shouldn't cost you more than $70

Lonepalm, the previous owner recommended that i change them at 25k miles.. i don`t know why... The car runs perfect, no shakes when idling, no shakes when starts moving.. no nothing...

And i can change the airfilter myself.. as for the oil... 1, don`t know how. 2, don`t have a place to do it :(

Don't buy a new muffler, just replace the muffler bearing to a larger size to allow more "spin" to the air as it flows thru. That's where the sounds come from.:evil:

Then leave the plugs alone, throw in the air filter and get an oil change, problem solved. ;)

Tell you what. Give me 100 and I will drive down there and do it for you.

To change the oil you jack up the car and place a drain pan under the very bottom of the motor. It should look like a weird cookie sheet with a bolt stuck in it. You unscrew the bolt and let the oil drain out of the car. Unscrew the filter on the side of the block, add a bit of oil to the lip of the new one and screw that back on. Place plug in pan(cookie sheet) and fill up the car with oil. You take 5 quarts.

yea replace the muffler bearing with the larger type, just ask u'r local parts store which one is good for u'r car ;)
And for the oil change about 1 cup of sand/metal filings is a great way 2 clean out the internals of the engine:smash:

yeahhhh...+1 it will help remove all those carbon deposits for when you drain the oil...:rolleyes:

WHat is the best website to purchase these things ? I heard american muscle is a little expensive... but i did a little research and the prices are ~ the same.

And at the same time...

what sparkplugs should i buy ? Bosch ?
Mufler i understood from mike that i should get a flowmaster.

And what kind of oil do i need to get for the stang ? V6 auto.

plugs- no. dont need them. moving on

filter- K&N, remove air silencer. done.

muffler- fuck a muffler. get a GT take-off catback, or have duals fab'd up for you. flow 40's are generically the best sounding for sixxers. straight throughs sounds like a tractor, chambered mufflers sound best. removing the cats will make it sound raspy, youll want to keep them. and before you ask- no, dont get shorty headers. they dont do shit on sixxers, the stock logs are fine until 350hp without sacrificing much power.

oil type you have covered.

why in the world would you order oil go to walmart and get the mobil 1 cheapest around advanced auto sells k&n filters and any spark plug you would want

When you do the dual exhaust do a cat back as it is pointless to spend money on another cat to run true dual exhaust on a sixxer. 40 series mufflers are the best sounding muffler on a sixxer i have heard.
