We’ve seen some pretty impressive things done with the new Mustang 5.0, but this latest project car by Blow-By Racing in Boca Raton, FL may just be the best yet. The Mustang uses BBR’s forged coyote shortblock as a base and features a Hellion single turbo system producing 17 psi of boost through a Boss 302 intake and a Nitrous Express 125 shot that all add up to 953 horsepower at the rear wheels. The car isn’t a stripped out race car, however, and still has a full interior with A/C, stereo and leather seats still in place.
BBR’s Mustang recently competed in 5.0 Mustang & Super Ford’s ‘King of the Street’ competition where it went against some of the fastest street-driven Mustangs in the country. As the numbers show it did well in the dyno competition, but unfortunately it didn’t lay down a time at the drag strip thanks to a driveshaft that snapped in half during the launch.
Hopefully we’ll get some more details on BBR’s Mustang along with some videos of it in action in the near future
