MaximumMotorsports are quality components, but very expensive.
I have also heard about bad quality/ customer service from UPR.

Lawsuit alleges defective car part played part in fatal accident

Frank Ulbrik Jr. in June sued Florida-based UPR Products, saying that the death of his brothers, Michael Ulbrik, 23, and Christopher Ulbrik, 17, both of Harrison Township, resulted from a "left front control arm" that "broke, fractured or malfunctioned," according to the lawsuit initially filed in Macomb County Circuit Court.

"There was an insufficient weld on the product itself," said the Ulbriks' attorney, David Timmis.

The 1988 Mustang, which had been fitted for racing, was being driven by Michael Ulbrik eastbound on Metropolitan Parkway about 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12 when it veered into the westbound lanes and crashed head-on into a 1997 Toyota Corolla. Michael Ulbrik was ejected from the vehicle after it rolled over, and the brothers were pronounced dead several hours later.

How about we get back to the original question: How to get some better traction in his 86. This guy needs some help and or advice. And this thread is starting to go in the wrong direction.

This is how threads work and how people get information. The guy has had his question answered by many people and if he still needs more help I'm sure he will ask. Everybody here is willing to help if they can.

Adjustable upper/lower rear control arms, 70/30 or 90/10 shocks upfront, rear springs with a loose spring rate preferably with an air bag in passenger side, torque box reinforcements, and drag radials or slicks. :rock:

i run slicks on the street lol...its not as bad as everyone says...but toomanytoys is right...u need subframes..and deff torque box reinforcements if ur gunna run slicks on or off the street

Those look good. I like the way they follow the contour of the floor. My subframes are older than half of the members on this board! They were had made by a chassis shop here that is long gone.
